Just been sent a link to this Venturi 400 GT for sale on EBAY. Very nice car which seems to have a lot of work done on it although I am not a great fan of the colour scheme or the marque spamming in the title.

The seller says "I believe Le Mans history from 1994 and 1996 as she retains all the scrutineering stickers on the car". If this is the case why would you not research this and get documented proof as well as applying to the FIA for an Historic Technical Passport (or is it too young for one?). Surely a documented history would add value to the car?

You're correct in that it would add value.

Many other cars are advertised that the Air Con doesn't blow cold and all it needs is a £25 re gas..... I read that as I have done a £25 regas and it's still fked so expect to pay £400+ to get it working.

Get aircon checked by a place that has a gas sensor ( not the ones that use fluorescent dyes ).
Odds are it needs a condenser.

That really doesn't look like an £80k advert to me. If it's got scrutineer stickers, he could have taken a photo maybe?

a Venturi tt with prov is most certainly worth that money.

I would like to see his Panteras (especially the one on the lift) and the Mangusta too.

I feel the same, never seen a Mangusta in the metal and according to Coys there are only about 250 left worldwide.
