Looking for a car to use for 3 days a week to have some fun but i still want it to be comfortable, i have ruled out s2000 and most 2 seaters because i am 6ft 5. I really like the e46 m3 but horror stories put me off i don't want to be paying out all the time.

Bmw M5. If you are really lucky you can get an E60 with that much.

You can't get an E60 M5 for £10k - unless it's a total sheetheap.

A manual E46 with the rear subframe inspected / repaired would easily attainable for £10k.

What about a Merc E55k?

You can get a really good E46 M3 with all the problems fixed for £10k, probably less.

Not one that works, you won't. I wouldn't touch an E60 M5 priced at under about £15k.

Fair enough. Especially because the E60 has an SMG and many more things to go wrong...

A 760li definitely packs some punch. Especially if you like to waft and go fast.

S60R is an option.

Audi s4? B6 i think is the generation, squarish style one.

been considering one myself. 340 bhp NA v8 should offer plenty of fun even if the handling isn't to bmw M standards
