Quick Q re taxing a new 2nd hand car.

Hi

I'm picking up a new car tomorrow that'll need taxing straight away.

I'm aware the insurance cert is not needed as it's checked electronically. It's got an MOT. I'll be going with the new keeper supplement, but it will be in my wives name, will this be a problem?

Or shall I just write my name on the new keepers supplement and they'll be no wiser?

Post office will want to see hard copy of Insurance certificate & MOT btw
