What Family Car?
Discussion
2nd child is looming, currently sporting a v50 oil burner which will be too small.
Looking for a spacious, reliable car that has a bit of lux factor - leather, heated seats etc.
Currently thinking about a MB B180, a V70, S Max, A6.....not really keen on any 4x4's to be honest.
Max budget is around £10k.
As usual, many thanks for any suggestions.

Really? A V50 is too small for two children?
Anyway, the Mondeo Estate is 30cm longer (as well as wider and taller) and you can get a decent few year old one with all the toys easily for 10k. What engine depends on your miles but the petrols are significantly cheaper. I've managed 2 young (1yo and 3yo) children, two adults, a two weeks holiday worth of stuff, a push chair and two extra car seats so I really can't see why you'd need much bigger unless you have other requirements.
The S-Max is meant to handle pretty well and based on the same floorplan but with the obvious proviso that it's a very tall car with lots of weight high up.
