I'm sitting at home watching the south bound traffic chugging through Chesterfield, an hour's delay over 5 miles so good luck, you have my sympathies.

ETA - from the Derbyshire Times at 13.14
The M1 southbound between junctions 28 and 29 is expected to remain closed until at least 3pm following an accident this morning.
A collision between two lorries and a car at about 8.15am closed the carriageway – resulting in major delays and stationary traffic.
A lorry driver suffered a broken leg.
Wreckage from the vehicles and fuel has spilled across the carriageway and will need to be cleared before the road can be reopened, police said.
A Derbyshire police spokesman said officers were working to open the central reservation gate so trapped motorists can travel on the northbound lane.
Paul Reeves, of the Environment Agency, said the chemical spillage does not pose a risk.
He added the fire service had dealt with the spillage with absorbant materials.
