Hey guys, trying to insure my 2004 Nissan 350Z and Swift and AXA are giving both very similar prices (Only Swift doesn't come with legal cover which I think is quite important). One quotes £420 the other £423. This is fully comp with protected NCD.

Can anybody suggest which is the best, if either, the next cheapest quote was Zenith at £500 or so then Admiral at £620, eek

Ideally I wanted to go with Admiral but not at that price, laugh

Swift is underwritten by AXA, it's the same company.

I've been with AXA for two years on the trot now, and they are the best company I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They really do bend over backwards to keep you happy.

AXA seem to have a poor reputation on many of the comparison sites but I've been with them for 6 months and they've given me absolutely no issues at all. Far easier to deal with than the Admiral group insurers were- they were utterly useless.

Thanks guys! I'll go with AXA then, comes with legal protection, windscreen cover, and courtesy car as standard. I don't need breakown cover as I get that free with Lloyds. At fully comp, protected I'm hoping there's not much to go wrong. Thats with £0 voluntary excess too, the compulsary is £200 but I can live with that, laugh

I used to work for them several years ago, and my Dad retired from the claims side of things there last year. I think they went through a poor patch when I was there but the claims side should be quite good now, hopefully you won't need to speak to them!
