HPI Check - Vehicle is on the security register?

[xreyuk]

Hi All,

Just HPI'd a car, and it's showing as on the security register. The HPI Check website says this can be done by the dealership because the car is sat on the forecourt and it's to stop people selling it, but can also be done by the police for various other reasons.

Anyone on here clarify if it's common to find vehicles on this register.

Thanks.
