A much more common site on the continent- in France last week I saw a Citroen CX, an old Panda 4x4 and a very early Renault espace... Oh, and an old Peugeot which I couldn't name by model as it pre-dates me nearly as much as the Citroen- 504 maybe?

1985 Mazda 626 I had abroad, with 225,000km on the clock. I used and abused that car round outback roads for 6 months and it only broke down once, when the starter failed. Walked into the nearest motor-factors and they had one on the shelf. Top service.

The Citroen XM has become a rare old beast though there are four of them parked at our place and all are road legal except one.
