Honda accord 2.4 i-Vtec what hey like?
Discussion
I ran one from new to 125k miles. Only thing that went wrong was the (Alpine) OEM CD player.
VTEC changeover point is only of limited use as the rev range above it is small, and the gearing isn't great for it. The gear change is nice and precise and the engine very smooth. Economy will be around 30mpg pottering about/running 80mph on the motorway.
Don't bother with the Type-S, as you're better of with the Exec and the extra toys.

I have one,
An 03. 2.4 type s
Currently on 80k miles.
Swallows the miles up lovely, circa 35mpg average. Will touch 40 if you are careful on a run
Nice sound system, comfy seats etc.
Faultless cars, and I can't see a better alternative for the money they fetch.
£4k is not bottom end either, you would get an immaculate pre facelift for that.
The type s has the nice front and rear lips and no sun roof.
As said, executive has more extras (heated seats, full leather, sunroof, sat nav in most although that can be specced in a type s)
