Hi all,

So the wife was driving back from Nottingham today and got to Coventry/Warwick area where she saw the following, 3 cars with f5 on the back, still wrapped in protective film and on trade plates.

Apparently they were probably 2 seat sports cars.

I have no idea what she saw.

Any ideas?

I'm still convinced they were F-Types and the wife needs an eye test!

I do think yours is the most probable explanation.

Dont trust wife car spotting, when we moved she went to see a house and talked to the neighbour, apparently he had a really cool, sporty old car with nice wheels on, she described it and I ascertained some sporty MK1/2 Escort, it was actually a Bog Basic Terracotta Chevette with Halfords finest wheeltrims, he was a nice lad and it was a half decent classic but it didnt live up to the build up !

Sounds like the test mules for the jag f type around that area. The badge on the "S" model looks like what's described
