I have heard of bad road camber but that pic takes it to a new level.

Fair play to him.

I'm dropping the top on the Golf as often as possible. Why not? It's not raining biggrin

Sorry for the wonky picture. If it was a cold but sunny winter day I could understand but cold and foggy?

Perhaps the hood material has tightened up due to age and/or colder temperatures preventing the hood from being raised sufficiently to lock it in place? Or maybe he’s just old school and considers a hood an unnecessary luxury. Either way, I hope his heater works and good luck to him.

I drove to work this morning with the roof off but the fog-light on (couldn't even see the end of our drive from the garage). Don't see what's wrong with it really. smile

I rotated the image. That could be my favourite Lotus colour scheme.

Bravo. I've done the same thing a few times, it's fun in its own way.

I.m to soft to have the top off in the cold, but one thing i do like is driving with the top down in the dark, dont know why but its a really strange sensation

I hardly ever put the roof on the tuscan, was out over the weekend in the cold and fog etc.

It's character building don't you know? smile

I used to drive round with the roof down all the time in my MX5, if you kept it over 30mph you wouldn't get wet anyway! Even in some serious downpours, a high airflow over the cabin seems to keep the rain out. I used to particular enjoy driving home in the middle of the night when it was wet and cold, the roads were near silent and the dense, foggy air made the exhaust sound really 'close' when you went down the lanes!
