Renault Apline GTA Turbo

I am thinking of re visiting the past by picking up a 5 GT Tubo or perhaps a 205 1.9 GTI for daily use. However, one car that I lusted after but didn't get round to trying in the late 80's was the GTA V6 Turbo. Does anyone run one of these on here as a daily driver, or care to share long term ownership experiences?

Sorry never owned one, I have a Matra Murena...a sort of kindred spirit predecessor, and a few guys in the Matra club made a natural progression to the Remault. Not much help, but like the choice.

Was that the one that talks about the 5 getting stuck behind other cars that wouldn't pull over from the outside lane, but the GTA cleared everything before it? (I may be mixing it up with the Esprit Turbo - 205 1.9 comparison)

Probably had that GTA advert in it too, with the tale of the 17 year old lad getting a present of an A110 from his mad uncle
