Hi guys thought id post here as its a general topic and not car specific, well it is and isn't

Just a quick one.

Got my car out of storage the other day, its been there for about 9 months and when i put it in the tyres were fine.

Now two of the tyres deflate almost flat within 24 hrs, any ideas why, ive checked for punctures etc and all seems fine.

TIA

That sort of thing is usually minor corrosion in the wheelrims preventing a good airtight bead seal.

possibly corrosion around the area of the rim where the bead seals with the tyre.

Tyre off, brush back with soft wire brush, repaint, dry, refit tyre with plenty of wax stuff.

Or if not got time or patience to fix properly then tyre weld will fill in the little holes and stop the tyres losing pressure. Perfectly safe as there's no chance of sudden deflation.

Check the valves by putting some diluted washing up liquid on them and watching for bubbling. You can also check the rims this way too.

Cheers guys ill be sure to have a look at that, im swaying toward dodgy valves as its only on the three tyres which are about 4 years old the other one is new and was still inflated when i took it out of storage, i thought someone had slashed my tyres to start with.
