Punto Sporting 1.4 turbo - decent commute fodder?

Have been offered a 2009 Punto 1.4 turbo cheap but know nothing about them. Duties would be general daily city runaround as we have the obligatory SUV for family duties.

Anyone got any experience? Anything to note?

I've never driven one but been a passenger in an 08 plate and it feels faster than the paper figures. Very nippy

My other half has one and her brother has an Alfa Mito with the same 120hp engine.
Both have been very reliable (touch wood) and they do seem quite well made.
They do feel very nippy for a 1.4
Not the most economical car though.
The Alfa seems to get 30 MPG and is thrashed everywhere.
The Mrs is the opposite and averages 30-35 MPG. Best we ever got was 43 MPG on a 60 MPH cruise.
