If you were a copper, what cars would you be "spot checking"

As per the title, like on all those tv cop shows, what cars would you pull over, even if they werent doing anything wrong at that moment, would it be the make, model, occupants or other factors that made you decide to stop them ?

It would be stopped because you wanted to pose for a picture beside it. Go on, admit it.

For me it would be those Transit tippers that go round looking for scrap metal. I lost a boiler to them when the plumber turned his back for a minute and they grabbed it off my front drive.

I'd be doing a lot of spot checks on Citroen Picassos, Korean hatchbacks from before about 2005 and basically any kind of people carrier. Purely because they're likely to be riddled with dangerous faults.

Peugeot 206s, 207s, 307s and 407s, because they seem to be the worst "driving with my headlights out" culprits.

Also, non-classic transits before 01/51 as I don't think I've ever seen one without at least one completely bald tyre.

but personally, i'd spend my life pulling people who dont say "thank you" after you've let them out or stopped for them.

Most people carriers with only one person in, is as most are just driven plain dangerously.
Anyone on a mobile phone when driving.
Anyone with lights out, anyone not indicating at appropriate time.

Probably most non black cab taxi / private hire taxi's (or whatever they are called) as all the ones I've been in have been death traps.

I can imagine 'spot check snooker' catching on.

Anything diesel turbo with a dump valve would get my attention. Oh and gangster tint windows, boot mounted subs and badly adjusted xenon headlights, or the ones that are brighter than the sun and usually seen in white Audi. Oh and white Audi, silver Audi....well just Audis and anyone younger than me, in a car I couldn't afford. Oh and people on phones when driving.
