Just had a text off a mate asking me to guess the car he just spotted.
details are:

5 left in the uk,
All LHD,
German hatchback,
Diesel,
Highlights include aluminium and Magnesium construction, hollow drive shafts and thinner glass.
830kgs kerb weight.

I like to think I'm a car geek, but this has me stumped.

Vince, look beyond the first few lines of the wikipedia article of the regular Lupo when looking for the 3L.
