Anyone got any experience of this type of number plate surround?
I need to swap my plates over but don't really want to trash the surround by going at it with a screwdriver and brute force.

I looks like you just need to put a couple of thin flat-head screwdrivers in the slots, apply pressure to the screwdrivers with one hand and pull the bottom of the surround out with the other hand.

Cheers, I'll give that a try later this evening.

The two halves are hinged at top and bottom. Pull the top half toward you and up. Once done on both sides, the bottom swings down.

IIRC you can do this with your fingers?

I did give it a little effort but it seemed fairly stubborn so did wonder if it need a little leveraging. I'll try the screwdriver first, then get a little more enthusiastic if that doesn't deliver results.
