Can't deny that put a smile on my face too. What a complete tool.

That overtake at around 0:17 seconds was toe curling... half a second longer and that could have been a seriously unpleasant accident :|

Haha what a moron. The Old Bill should have hit him harder - looked like he got a good whack to the chest!

Idiots like this ruin it for petrolheads everywhere.

This is not a 'spirited drive'. This is a small cocked idiot endangering lives.

Hope that copper in the first clip got a medal. No doubt he tried to claim GBH or something with that.

I have to give credit to the Police Officers in this for the restraint the have in dealing with tools like this, how they don't do an "aggressive" arrest is beyond me.

That's a PIT stop maneuver, right? (the first one)

This chase covers a third of my route home from work. Seeing people do 60-70MPH isn't an uncommon thing for me, neither is seeing people over take on the hatched and solid white markings in the middle of the road with cars coming the other way. Three deaths on the A48 since Christmas.

The last video I saw of a police chase on this road was of a guy in a Vectra topping 100MPH quite often - he ended up in an air ambulance.

There's another video of this latest guy giving the police the run around a few months later doing 70MPH through a town at 1AM.

He uploaded a photo to Facebook explaining the police couldn't catch him when they actually caught him twice. First class moron.

If he committed an offence in Gloucestershire, why would he be incarcerated in America?

No, just a PIT manoeuvre.

Four year ban in addition to the jail term. Does the ban run from when he is sentenced?

If so that seems wrong; the ban should start when he is released from jail so that he gets the full 'benefit' of it.

It's a stretch of road I'm quite familiar with. Recently had 50 limits imposed on good chunks of it, some of which are entirely unreasonable but several of which are completely sensible (the one that springs to mind is the section shortly after the dual carriageway at the beginning of the first video, there's a roundabout at the end of that with very limited sight lines for those coming from Gloucester and taking the second exit towards the Forest -A40/A48 roundabout)

In fact I'm relatively certain I've seen this utter moron driving dangerously on that very stretch of road, during a fairly congested Saturday morning circa about 9:30AM. Glad to see he received a fairly harsh sentence.

I can't see what he's done wrong. Sick of the bl00dy BRAKE supporters exploiting any situation like this.

Correct. They didn't even attempt to change his tyres.

So, you look at that video and you don't see any criminal disregard for the well-being of innocent people? His behaviour is the very definition of "dangerous driving".

No such thing in this country. It's called tactical contact and is done to disable the car, not to spin it.

I know. But that would have been a rather humourless reply.

'Disable the car'.... rofl riiiiiight.....

Just the sort of idiotic driving that Brake and all the other stuck-record simpletons instantly jump on as being "typical" and somehow representative of all performance car drivers. This in turn helps bring about even greater restrictions and curbs on our freedom "for our own good".

Every idiot like this chap makes their hysterical voices that little bit louder.
