Myself and a mate often have a 'cash point' challenge, by a car for under £500.

Anybody else do this, always make a few ££s too.

Best we had so far:

Scimitar GTE, seized clutch otherwise not bad.
Astra diesel TDi 05, with a leak.
Volvo V70 T5
Alfa 156 2.4d
Suzuki Swift, yeh i know but 3 years later it's still going strong, passed every MOT and the person i sold it too for a small profit loves it.

And my current sh@tter is a Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi sport, which i may keep a while. Allegedly mapped to 170hp, does have lowered suspension, TT brakes and scabby wings. Oddly feeling the love for it, looks crap and has the standard dash random faults, don't half shift for what it is though.

Share yours, must be in last few years as £500 15 years ago was lots.

What you need is the best car to pull the cash machine out of the wall.

T&T Alfa 166 3.0, in red with black leather £450. Had a leaky rad, shoved some rad seal in and it ran perfectly and surprisingly everything worked on it! Only got rid of it because the windscreen cracked (trade policy no screen cover frown)
