I dont think this is a new thing, ive seen this discussed before, someone said they are laggy as hell

Soo.. this guy mounted his turbo right at the exhaust, then runs the boost pipe all the way back to the front to his engine?

The only upside i can think off would be that the back-pressure to the turbo must be very low, so once some exhaust gasses get to the turbo, it'll spool quickly. Obvious downsides would be humongous lag and lower efficiency due to exhaust gasses cooling down (and losing pressure) before hitting the turbo.

I wonder where he put the intercoolers..

Not surprised with that length of piping! I assume it's behind the rear passenger side wheel from the pics? Madness.

Rear mounted aftermarket turbos are a common mod in the US. They use a larger turbos than would normally be required to account for the lower pressure/energy in the exhaust gas flow. Still laggy though.
