Can you trace the origins of a Bosch battery with serial?
Discussion
As title, anyone know if you can trace when a car battery was made/sold via the serial number? This is a Bosch Silver Plus S5 battery that I need to find some info on.
Bosch Automotive UK are currently closed, first step is to give them a call on Monday - but has anyone done this before and what information can you find out? Can they tell me the production date/retailer etc...?

Year 00 (so the battery was constructed in 2000) and Week 25 of that year, mebbe?
Could be totally wrong, mind, as I don't know if this battery was available then...
The batteries I buy usually have a sticker eg. "Dec 07" on their side.

I highly doubt the battery was made in year 2000, it would have done well to be made 7 years before the car was built, and I assume it would have been fitted between 2011-2013 so it's likely to have been made in 2009-12 I would imagine?

I know how to age a tyre, but don't know how manufacturers label batteries. There is no obvious sign showing its age.
