I was driving home this afternoon and I was heading down a hill towards one of those signs that lights up if you exceed the speed limits. The car which was in front of the car in front of me lit the sign up. The car directly in front of me lit up his flashing blue lights and siren ( unmarked police car )and pulled the car ahead over . Presumably the police car would have to have more than just the sign post thing lighting up as evidence of speeding. I started wondering how this would work from a legal angle. I presume the unmarked car was already doing a speed check / or the car they pulled was flagging up a problem.
