The fracking in Salford did that. They should have listened to the Electrical Engineer that was charged for drunk driving.

It's Climate Chaos, give a few million to the UEA and they will model how many holes will appear in Motorway central reservations, so 'something can be done'.

The ground is washed or dissolved away underneath the surface and then the surface caves into the void underneath. It will have been caused by the recent wet weather and the carriageway itself could collapse in yet.

There was a guy in Florida, which has lots of sinkholes and more opening up all the time, who was sucked into one when he was asleep in bed and it opened up in his bedroom. The holes actually suck things in and he was never found.

There was a program on the BBC about this last week. They never found the bloke - bloody frightening really.
