Delorean (can any one help)

Evening all, i'm after a bit of help if possible.

One of my team at work has 9 year old twin boys who are both autistic, he has a fantastic relationship with them and it is a credit to him that he handles his family life/work life balance really well.

Anyway his lads being very active and at an age when they are still innocent have him building them all sorts of models/masks etc with the latest fad being Back to the Future which they are apparently obsessed with, he has got them the lego kit which amused them for about 10 minutes after taking him ages to build but they now want him to build them a real 1!!!!!!!!!!!! daft thing is he has told them he is waiting for the drawings from me!!!!

What he really needs is to find someone who has a Delorean and would let us visit and let the lads sit in it or point us in the right direction to somewhere with one on show, if any can help out or point us in the right direction it would be much appreciated, if you have one and can help out i'm sure i can push a bottle of champers your way!

We are based in West Yorkshire by the way.

My mate has one, but lives in Surrey.... and I doubt it would make it to Yorkshire. He is on first name terms with the local RAC patrols..... although I think it has got a little more reliable since he imported it.....

There's a lady on here who is based near Nottingham and had two of them. Have a look in the East Midlands forum, there is a griffins head thread and I am pretty sure she has posted in there previously.

I tried that twice (slow learner me ). The museum has - or had, back in 2005 - cheap nylon carpet, and I always wanted to see what a DeLorean felt like - cue a CRACK! sound and a 1" spark between the end of my right index finger and the bonnet as I drew near (it hurt! ). So I tried again - this time with a 1/2" spark and another CRACK! sound which also hurt ...

I've seen one, summer 2013, parked in a driveway in Hornsea - East Yorkshire. It was all done up like the BTTF car.
