Best hire car deals

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can point out any particularly decent hire deals?

Needing a car at Glasgow airport from Thursday - Saturday, best I've come up with is an Astra sized car for £43 via Enterprise.

Anyone know of anything better?

Out of all the rental places, i have usually used Thrifty, usually a better deal and cars are a good standard, always had something less than a year old, 3 series, Tiguan, Mondeo etc with good spec.

Cheaper and slighty older, a company called DCH scotland do airport hire, based in Ayrshire i think. Decent prices etc but was an older 5 series (E60 4/5yr old) the one time i used them with slightly higher miles, couple years back so may have improved by then, worth an email maybe.

That's not a bad price but try holiday-autos.co.uk - most of the time you end up with Europcar at a fraction of their web price.

Enterprise are always the cheapest for the rental I have to occasionally do.

Enterprise would be my choice too.

Easycar seem to come out cheap often. They are a broker for all the big names.

They also offer you the ability to do full insurance up front so you don't pay the on airport rates

Yep, I always use them, get better rates than if you go to Hertz/Europcar, etc. directly. Only problem is that you don't know who you're booking with until after you've paid but every time I've got one of the big hire companies.

Thanks guys, have now tried DCH and Easycar, unfortunately both proved more expensive than Enterprise.

I think I'll just book the Enterprise one whilst I still can!

These guys are normally the cheapest for me, they're £37 a day for a Focus
