But that swage line that forks into a Y shape in front of the rear arch seems to have been carried through in my eyes to the R34.

You'd only get more BiB pulling out in front of you if you had a Skyline.

If you want expensive, try to buy a Toyota 2000GT. I know a garage in Japan which currently has 3 they are restoring at the moment.

Looks a lot like the one Jm Imports had for sale at considerably less than that not all that long ago. They'll be holding onto that for a while.

I don't think thats a real gtr, the engine is wrong. IIRC they made less than 200 gtrs of this style (c110).

Oh FFS. Back in the late 90's I had a non GTR version of that when I lived out in Oz, it was an absolute shed, but just needed tidying up. I paid $300 for it and then gave it to a mate when I left to come back to the UK.

What a muppet, it didn't need that much work to get it sorted...

Overpriced a bit, but not as much as you'd think. Serious collectors item in Japan, only produced for about 6 months and in seriously limited numbers, as mentioned. If you want a similar shock, see how much the wonderful KPGC10s go for, as well as the aforementioned 2000GTs.
You have to remember that these are sort of the equivalent to E-Types and their ilk. The values are only ever going to climb if looked after.
If only I hadn't spent tens of thousands on house renovation, there'd be an 'investment' Cosmo 110s sitting in my garage...
