LaFerrari: Time For (more) Tea?

So, tonight's Harris vid is the McLaren P1 but before you write off LaFerrari you perhaps need to see this

Will Ferrari let grubby hacks out in LaFerrari? We'll see about that but as McLaren's P1hoovers up adulation off the back of its limited press launch at Yas Marina LaFerrari has slipped into the background somewhat.

It'll be kept there tonight as we all settle down to enjoy Chris Harris's video of driving the P1. We already know he was blown away by it. We've seen the stills. And it's going to be a hell of a ride.

Even if you had the cash you can't buy one, and nor can you buy LaFerrari. But that doesn't stop us all playing the game of choosing one over the other. And though this vid is little more than gonzo footage filmed over the fence at Fiorano it seemingly combines two very cool things - Kimi and LaFerrari at its apparently brutal best. Certainly if you thought Ferrari hypercars had lost their scary edge since the glory days of the F40 and F50 you may be in for a shock. Looks like Kimi (or whoever it was in the baseball cap) was. Electrically assisted they may both be but can the McLaren's turbo V8 really compete with an Italian V12?

At least Ferrari have gone big NA rather than small turbo.

I think the Ferrari will trump the P1 where it counts.

Not sure on that Porsche though, I've got a feeling that could be pretty awesome in the end for those lucky enough to sample all three side by side.

Even if it is quicker than the P1 I seriously doubt it will 'wipe the floor'

Also I would take an Ferrari press release with a pinch of salt.

I'll wait to see if theres ever an independent test of the cars.

Looks much , much better on the move ( meanwhile in dreamland )still the P1 for me though , it just looks .... MENTAL .
