Please help jog my memory : old TV advert

The LaFerrari thread reminded me of an old TV advert but I can't find it nor remember what it was for (a beer ? a spirit?).
Circa 1980/90 I am not sure. It was a bloke turning up in a supercar (Lambo? XJ220?) and parking it outside a bar somewhere nice, like the French Riviera.
He then goes in the bar and shares a drink with a few mates.
The ad played on reverse snobbery and assumptions about rich people being snobs etc etc
Can anyone help ?

Diablo pulls up outside a swanky pub, and two blokes at the bar start taking the mick between themselves:
- "Bet this guy must be ugly to need a car like that!", but handsome driver gets out, and women flock
- "Right, bet he's not too clever though", but man gets called Professor
So handsome prof goes to bar and orders a Snowball, to the sound of sniggering from the two mockers. But then the prof adds: "Oh, and a Fosters for me as well please!"
From about the same time as that other great Aussie beer ad: "She's a good sport, your Sheila, isn't she!!!"

My favourite was the XXXX advert where the Aussie blokes have a pick-up loaded with crates of beer, and add a single bottle of sherry "for the ladies". The utes suspension then collapses. "Looks like we overdid it with the sherry". Dog Star said:
