I was waiting at the tyre fitters today, leafing through the magazines, as you do.

Happened upon the magazine for Regtransfers.co.uk.

What a pile of cack.

Endless features on people who 'just loved' their ste plates, mostly mis-spaced and loads in illegal fonts. Lots of features of "personal" plates where the real name or word had to be included in brackets afterwards, because they were so ste.

Not even the good grace to include a disclaimer saying "this spacing is for show plates only and may not be used on the road" next to the mis-spaced crap on show.

The worst bit was a feature on some couple who were selling their collection of ste numbers because they were emigrating. The wife was quoted as laughing because she was stopped by the Police for having M7 OWN misrepresented as "my own". "But the policeman just laughed, and said 'that looks so cool' before sending me on my way!" She is alleged to have said.

Like that happened.

So if you were ever wondering what on earth possessed someone to pay good money for some random crap, well now you know where they got the idea.
