Help me choose my next car please

Hi All,

I am going to buy a next car in the next 2 months and I am looking for a nice diesel that will give me some space, reasonable mpg, not too old, value for money, not too expensive for parts/servicing. Looks will play a part, hence my option

These are the ones I am considering :

Audi A2 1.4TDI
VW Polo 1.4TDI Dune
Seat Toledo 2.0TDI Sport Special Edition
Volvo V50 2.0 diesel
Alfa 147 1.9 JTD (5 door) TI or Q2
Peugeot 407 2.0HDI Estate

I don’t have a high budget. Up to 5k but realistically about 3-4ish is what I want to spend.

I would consider a small engined petrol too but the cars above seem to give me what I need already.

Any views from current/previous owners of these cars would be much appreciated.

I would, without hesitation, buy the A2.

A car well ahead of it's time.

But be careful as accident damage is difficult to repair due to the aluminium/space frame/etc.

Thanks it is my number 1 choice at the moment due to the cheap tax, great MPG and lightness of the aluminium body.
