As a local(ish) who has travelled this route in/on many varied forms of transport from an Integrale to a GSXR750 (and a Defender!) I can wholeheartedly agree with every word!

Highlights would be the Integrale and an Alfasud Sprint Veloce, with self preservation taking over when riding bikes on the same road I'm afraid. I'm a Yorkshireman and whilst not averse to getting up close and personal with flossy and her wooly sisters, I'd rather do it on foot!
