Lamborghini Huracan: Pic Of The Week

A Lambo has to work as pin-up material; new Huracan faces its first real test in POTW

Ferrari may have its sporting heritage but Lamborghinis have always represented the magic and mystery of fast cars and provided inspiration for generations of dreamers. PHers of a certain age most likely had a peeling poster of a Countach or Diablo on their walls at some point in their formative years; here we bring that up to date and give the new Huracan its first real test ahead of its Geneva show debut - does it work as a desktop backdrop?

In the usual POTW way we've provided you with a choice of formats to choose from so go ahead, test the new Lambo out in its sternest of assignments so far.

Those black slats across the engine remind me of the Richard Grant louvered window covers that used to adorn Capris and Mantas back in the early 1980s.

First thing I thought was full frontal would have been better.

The way that pic has been taken it makes it look wider at the front than at the rear. Probably just an optical illusion, but supercars usually look better when they have a fatter arse.

That's got to be the worst Huracan picture I've seen so far. All the other pictures I've seen have been great, but that one's just awful. It would be nice if you could give us a choice of a few different views.

Am I the only one that thinks the new Hurican just looks like an R8 with a body kit? The whole back end / roofline has the same overall shapes etc.

I'm totally down with platform sharing, but surely with the values in question they had the budget to have mixed the hindquarters / roofline up a bit more?
