New Mazda 6 - real world economy

I currently run a previous generation Mazda 6 2.2 diesel (125bhp) which has been a fine car in almostcall aspects. The only disappiintment being fuel economy - l am getting about 41-42 mpg.
I'm rather fancying a new one now so wondered if anyone with one of the new models can advise what economy you are getting please?

Quite simply if you want economy you can get really good figures but you will have to work at it. Its also quick enough but you will struggle to get low 40's driven harder. I can get high 50's out of them driven daily & 60 if you try. The i-eloop one is then to get for economy for sure.
