entering uk number plate recognition

I took a uk registered car out to europe three years ago and was wondering if when i bring it back will customs or whoever know that the car has been out of uk this long, ie will it light up went out three years ago and has not returned until now or is it unknown after a certain amount of time. TIA.

Unless you have returned to MOT it annually, I think that driving without an MOT will be the main issue.

Indeed they won't care about that one jot, its just the workaround for the above issue when on the roads from Dover/Pompey/wherever

Then no problem. One of my cars generally spends around 3-4 days a year in the UK... for it's MOT.
