The Nurburgring has something of a legendary status in the USA, no doubt thanks to the playstation and top gear.

American investment and cash can only be a good thing IMO

Not good…American ownership could put it in the reach of American Courts..there are ingenious lawyers there. The whole thing about the Ring is that it is not over improved. The amusement park and the dreadful complex made it much worse with all that debt. I have to get back soon I suspect before it is ruined. All that liability exposure is a nasty thing, and without a doubt it will be much more expensive and some kind of celebrity event hangout. Kim Kardashian drives the Ring in a new Vette!..Celebrity race days!..RIng TV!…aaargh……...

I would hope that the goal would be to keep it much as it is, but address the debts? It could be a good thing though.
