Citroen C5 drivers door won't unlock with central locking?

I've tried googling this and have found out I need to take the door card off but after that it all gets a bit hazy.

Has anyone had to do this and how is it done as it is now my lazy sunday project.

The drivers door locks like all the other doors when using central locking but requires the key to open it where as all the other doors open with central locking. Slightly annoying as any other door and I would just leave it.

Probably the solenoid has died. My car has the same issue but with the passenger's door. It won't open when using the fob or the lock/unlock button inside, but it works if you do it manually.
