What were to happen if we reversed conventional wisdom?
What if the vehicle joining the carriageway had right of way, instead of the one already on it.


Would it matter?

It makes a huge difference to traffic flow - I lived in Ukraine for a year and the cars joining a roundabout have priority over those on a roundabout - weird......

Wouldn't make much difference, most people seem to think that anyway in my experience!

That's probably what happened to Mr Putin - He was heading for Kiev but got confused at the roundabout and ended up in Crimea.

I like India - no real priority controls, it just meanders like a river along the path of least resistance.... until ita ll clogs up in a hooting match. I don't think the little tuk-tuks have a reverse gear do they?
