Wish I'd had a dash camera

If I I had it'd make good viewing 
We live in a rural location and as I appproached the T-junction at the entrance to our village, on the way to pick up the kids from school,a coach came around the corner so it was coming towards me.
As it came around the corner, a cargo door on its o/s dropped open and a fraction of a second later hit my car smashing the windscreen and putting a big dent in the A pillar.
I sat there, covered in glass thinking WTF!
Luckily I was ok and a car stopped to make sure I was alright. She'd been following the coach and saw the whole thing and was probably even more shocked than me!
The coach stopped down the road, the driver got out , shut the door and f
ked off!
How did he not know he'd hit me!? Anyway, the witness had his number so he won't get away with it.
Ironically I'd been looking at dash cams, and although it's all going through the insurance no problem, it'd make a good YouTube clip.
I'm tempted to get one now but since I've gone 30 years with out anything like this happening I think I've missed this particular opportunity
