Bird " lime" removal

Have had two large deposits on my black Audi bonnet .
After soaking I've managed to get it off but the saucer size stain appears to have got below the laquer . Any suggestions what to use ? Worried about any product that might be too harsh but will rubbing compound be the answer ?.

Rubbing compound will still dull a finish, but will come up easily if you have a machine polisher to hand.

Meguiars do a micro-compound which I use. It seems kinder than T-cut and I have ven used it to polish scratched CDs.

Initially clay the area and then you may well need a G220 or a machine polisher plus some mild abrasive to remove any marks and then wax away!!
