selling number plates

Hi All

I am going to sell some of my number plate collection. Has anybody got experience of selling through regtransfers. Any comments gratefully received.

They will tell you they value it at X, and if it sells they will return to you Y (X-their fee). It will then sit on their sit anywhere between 1 day and 100 years. I've had plates advertised with them for 5+ years without any enquiry.

If you want to sell then eBay. Start at 99p and it will find it's own true value.

Unfortunately that's the nature of plates - you need to find someone who wants that particular plate and is willing to spend Y on it.

Whizz them through to me by PM and I'll give you a realistic valuation of them.
