Do any cars come in "satin black" from factory/as standard?

Hi all

Thinking of getting my car resprayed and would like satin black (or a dark grey); google images is giving me plenty of ideas but they all seem to be aftermarket resprays or vinyl wraps and it would be nice to find a 'standard' colour that I can perhaps even go and see in person and then the paintshop can match exactly... but do any cars come in satin black from the factory??

Look,at BMW website. Should tell you if they do it.

Probably none for sale because they look so fg hideous nobody ever ordered one!!

There's plenty of info on the web on how to take care (not 'polish') matt and vinyl cars.

Had a look on BMW's site and picked an M3 and went through the colour options - nope, not there.

Weren't BMW's matt colours called 'Frozen'

Yes, MINI offer it on the Paceman & Countryman, called Frozen Black. Very rare though, 38 coming to the UK.

Alpina does the matte blue/purple on the B7.

But the reason OE's don't matte colours is because it's hard to get it consistent over the entire car.

BMW offered Frozen Grey Metallic on the e9x M3, though it was very difficult to maintain, was a list of certain products not to be used, not a practical choice.

I also remember seeing the cleaning kit BMW offered for this colour, silly money!

Ok thanks guys, that Mini one is lovely, has a nice sheen - the BMW M3 one is a little flatter/more matt than vinyl.

Will have a word with the paintshop!

I'm fairly sure that was a Matt Black wrap over a standard Green/Blue/White car.
