Are people more accepting of scamera vans now ?

As per the title really.

I still loathe them, I imagine most phers do.

The reason for the question is only one car bothered to "warn me" of a scammers presence today, you normally get most of the driving world and their mums flashing you.

I didn't need to alter speed on this occasion, but it is still a "matey" thing to receive such a warning.

When in the white van i get other vans warning me, otherwise usually nada. Odd.

You'd have to be stupid enough to admit it to get done for it, and to even be looking for people doing so would require a Police presence, they don't tend to be that bored these days.

Also, how could you actually get done if you don't admit it? What law is there against a double flash of main beam?

I seem to recall a case of a guy standing by the road holding a sign saying speed trap ahead or similar.

I think the general population like nothing more than to see others get fined or get in trouble when they don't.
