National Classic Car day - 4th April 2014

Chris Evans (Radio 2) has declared the 4th of April National Classic Car day . Apparently, the criteria is ‘if you consider it a classic, then its OK’

Sounds like a great idea to me.

Will you be taking part, and what car will you be using?

Also, if it rains will you still be taking part?

Sadly, due to my indecisiveness I am classic-less although I do have an old runabout...

Anyone thinking of driving their classic to work would also be well advised to check that they have commuting cover (as opposed to SD&P) on their insurance policy too. (Something that an insurer was keen to promote when they launched their Drive Your Classic to Work wheeze last year : http://www.heritage-quote.co.uk/blogitem.cfm?fqID=... )

I heard him rabbiting on about this .

I will take the Barchetta to work on Friday and Saturday.

I will be going to the Pod on drive it day for a Ford meet ,also in the Fiat.......
