2003 FFRR 3.0 Diesel - too cheap for 9K

Wasn't looking at all but noticed this whilst doing a web search for something else and browsing the dealers other stock - 113K miles

Did these suddenly get very cheap when I wasn't looking?

If anything that's at the top price range for age/mileage/spec. Nice looking car though - rubbish aftermarket towbar, mind you.

That's about the right price for one nowadays. I wouldn't touch the TD6 with a barepole though, they're painfully slow. An L322 is never going to be cheap to run so you may as well get the 4.4 V8, especially as I've seen LPG converted ones for £8-9k.

This is interesting - they would seem to be a bargain compared to Disco 3s - Is the Rangey (diesel) engine still a BM unit at this age? The 2.5 one in the P38 wasn't exactly outstanding IIRC.

Agreed. Painful.

I had one as a courtesy car when my 4.4 was in for a service and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The engine didn't suit the character of the car at all. It also only managed 22.7mpg as opposed to the 18.3mpg (both OBC read outs) mine was getting at the time, so negligible when taking into account the asthmatic performance.

The TDV8 is another story however...

In answer to the OP's question though, prices have dropped through the floor of late and IMHO will continue to do so through the summer...

Coupled to the chocolate gearbox, you can see why they're cheap. 4.4 V8 petrol at this age.
