Pay pal scam

Warning! Just had a guy trying to buy a car of me.
Sent me an email saying he had just come out of hospital and was unable to come and see the car, we then agreed a price, he said he would employ a delivery agent to pick it up. (This rang bells).
He then asked me to make a payment request via PayPal.
I checked this out with PayPal who informed me that it was phishing scam.
Not quite sure how the scam works but a few people have fell for it.
The guys email and PayPal account name is

I just simply would not do business by email for these amounts of money. Initial enquiries maybe, but I would do the sharp end by phone and then in person.

Anyone not willing to participate on those terms is IMO a scammer or someone with something to hide.

Don't tell or send them anything.

Just be aware that any Paypal payment received is never truly safe for the recipient.

Paypal for a car is just ridiculous.

Bank transfer all the way.
