quick question about car sterios

Sorry to bother you guys.

I am looking at a Renault Megane Scenic... its got a CD player, but no bluetooth and I am looking at replacing it with one that has from Halfords.

But presumably I am going to loose any control from the steering wheel? and will the clock still work?

Suggestions welcome....

The on dash display won't display anything from the stereo. I'm not sure if the clock is fed by the stereo?

Go for a bigger brand (Sony, kenwood) and you can buy an adapter that will allow the steering controls to work with the new stereo

As said, you should be able to get a adapter for steering controls.

Before you splash out at Halfords I'd check somewhere like car audio security as they're normally cheaper.

I think you can get ones which will display on stereo. You need to go somewhere with better knowledge than Halfords though.

My clio is the same, there are stereos that will retain the hand controls and the top info screen. You need a couple of adapters but they can be picked from any decent car audio place.

Halfords quotes me £200 fitted with screen and hand controls both working. The biggest car audio company on the south coats didn't have a clue
