Just a quick question can I tax my car today from the 1st of the April as it wont be going on the road till tomorow?

I dont think so as they will back date it to the start of March. You will need to get the tax tomorrow morning.

You'll be able to buy the disk for April now, otherwise we would all be overlapping 2 months everytime we bought it. Not sure of the exact timescales, but its at least a week prior if not more.

If it's not currently taxed, (unless they've changed the rules again...) you can tax it two working days before the start of the month. If it is currently taxed, you can tax it as soon as you get the reminder.

So yes - either way, you can tax it today ready for tomorrow.
