Many find it deeply worrying that a few electric cars have caught fire as internet experts have never found a single case of a fossil fueled car catching fire
I think there is a good chance that the objects driven over would puncture or otherwise disrupt a conventional plastic fuel tank, and definately serious damage other "under car" systems like the exhaust / suspension etc!
