Nice to see a rebody for the MR2 which isn't trying to look like a Ferrari. It's not what you could call pretty, though.

Looks like an NV Replikit job, I'm sure they made more than five of these! It's not 'really' an MR2 Le Mans as far as I can see, because that accolade surely goes to the Le Mans car built by SARD for endurance racing. I'd love to have a go in one though.

Half of me really likes that, half of me can't help getting glimpses of "Ferrari replica" from certain angles.

Different wheels that are wider and fill the arches at the rear and a stripped out interior would probably help

I love some of the mad Grp B / Grp S prototypes that never really saw the light of day. Who needs a 205 T16 when you've got the mid-engined Daihatsu Charade or Lada Samara?!

Theres not really much information on the 222D out there. I don't think it was ever homologated or raced.

My thoughts entirely ! Saw one last year on Ebay that didn't even make the £2 grand start price, I like that it's different but not £10 grand different.
