Yes i agree

Some car makers seem hell bent on making their entire range look the same, for some you can also see the genetic relationships too eg ford/volvo/mazda.

people may mock the Nissan Juke but at least they dared to be different.

I think we'd all had enough of Rover 75s, PT cruisers and S Types 10 years ago....

Along what lines where you thinking? The last few cars that had these design traits are not really seen now as great designs

I'd love to see a mainstream sports car in the vein of the MX5 styled along 60s lines - MGB/Spitfire sort of thing. I guess you couldn't get away with chrome bumpers these days, though.

So does my MG.

Well they were chrome once, they're mostly rust now.

The Veyron has a chrome grille and a curvy body scratchchin

Totally by coincidence, I was reading an old issue of Classic Car magazine this lunchtime. The special feature was Bentley Continentals like this:

I meant cars where the bonnet and wings were interesting 3d sculptures. Where grills looked bling, before bling was in. Where the roof wasn't super small, pin headed. And where pillars are slim.
